The Dream Hotel brand is journeying to Hollywood with plans to occupy a stalled lodging project, according to the Los Angeles Times. Formerly known as the Selma, the $45 million, 148-key hotel was approved in 2008 but never got off the ground due to the economic crisis. The design by Killefer Flammang Architects calls for a rooftop pool, restaurant, and lounge. Construction will start in the spring; the hotel, managed by Hampshire Hotels & Resorts, is slated to open in fall 2013.
