Dromoland Castle is has nearly completed substantial renovations at its sister property, the Inn at Dromoland Castle. Formerly known as Clare Inn, the 181-room hotel is located on 21 acres adjacent to the resort.
Opened in 1968, the Inn was originally part of the Dromoland estate. The new relationship will now allow both hotels to offer a wider complement of activities and amenities to guests during their stays.
The 24-guestroom Inn features a charming and airy interior design⎯⎯including sitting room panels commissioned from Irish muralist Orlagh Murphy that depict the surrounding countryside. The Ballyhannon suite⎯⎯the newly renovated banqueting center⎯⎯caters to events hosting up to 400 guests. Three halls accommodating smaller scale events are available as well.
Dromoland has also has begun a four-year project to upgrade the Inn to 3- to 4-Star standards.
