Swissotel and the Address from Emaar Properties are the two latest brands to make plans for new hotels in Dubai. Swissotel Jadaf Dubai, the brand’s second property in the Middle East, calls for 280 guestrooms and suites, an all-day-dining restaurant, three specialty restaurants with outdoor areas, a spa, and meeting facilities totaling 17,000 square feet. Opening in early 2016, it will be part of a mixed-use development comprising two other hotels, residences, serviced apartments, and retail and entertainment destinations.
Meanwhile, Emaar will launch the Address, the BLVD in its Downtown Dubai development by mid-2015. Rising 1,115 feet high, the hotel will be the second tallest building in the complex next to Burj Khalifa. The hotel will feature 200 guestrooms, 542 serviced residences, and multiple dining venues.
