InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has completed the second phase of a renovation to its InterContinental San Juan property.
The project included upgrades to 398 guestrooms and suites and a complete redesign of public spaces. The second phase of the project was designed and constructed in just ten months.
Together with Coral Gables, Florida-based Edge of Architecture, local architect, Arquiteg, and contractor, QB Construction, the John Hardy Group-led by senior project director Peter K. Speth-managed the $22.25 million renovation.
With the most extensive renovations completed on the building’s exterior and lobby lounge interior, the InterContinental San Juan now celebrates the beaches of San Juan with a soft palette of colors.
