Perkins+Will has acquired Envision Design, a design firm specializing in sustainable corporate interiors. The 15-person practice, where ever professional is LEED accredited, will move into Perkins+Will’s Washington, DC office. Envision’s Ken Wilson and Diana Horvat will join the company as principals. The firm has completed projects for Al Gore and his investment firm Generation IM, Apple, CoStar Group, APCO Worldwide, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
“Envision is constantly setting the bar when it comes to sustainability and high-quality design, and is one of the industry front-runners,” says Stephen Manlove, managing director of Perkins+Will’s Washington office. “Their unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility and social well-being made them a natural fit to join Perkins+Will. Together we have the ability to design the most innovative spaces…that not only result in striking interiors, but more importantly, improve the lives of the people who inhabit them.”
