Eurasia Resorts International, Ltd. and Global Financial Trust, Ltd. (GFT) plan to open a new megaresort in Las Vegas. The resort is slated for unveiling in the first quarter of 2014.
Architect Frank Fireston Ake-whose previous work includes the Silver Tech Tower in Beijing and the Ajman Resort in UAE-will head the project. As part of the current concept, the charm and character of many countries around the world would be reflected in the architecture of many of the structures.
The project will include numerous boutique hotels and international sports and event facilities. Plans include 15 million square feet of retail space throughout the resort-expected to become the world’s largest shopping center.
The Eurasia project also contemplates building the world’s largest convention center-catering to local, national, and international markets with a global commercial services component to be unveiled in Q1.
