Even Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) new wellness hotel brand, has signed on for its first property. Opening in late 2014, the 230-key hotel in midtown Manhattan will feature indoor and outdoor exercise and dining spaces. The health-conscious brand focuses on four key areas: food, work, exercise, and rest.
IHG expects to sign 100 Even Hotels in the U.S. in the next five years under managed and franchised agreements in additional markets such as Washington DC and San Francisco. The company also plans to announce additional locations over the next few months and unveil the first Even Hotel later on in 2013.
