Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will open a hotel in Taiyuan, a historic city in Northern China and the capital of Shanxi Province, in 2014. The property, situated along the Fen River, will have 330 guestrooms and suites, a variety of restaurants and lounges, a Willow Stream Spa, fitness and pool facilities, and nearly 38,000 square feet of function space.
