The smallest member state of the United Arab Emirates will get a new Fairmont hotel in early 2013. Fronting more than 800 feet of unspoiled sandy beaches, the Fairmont Ajman calls for 252 guestrooms and suites, including two luxurious penthouse suites. An all-day dining outlet, which features a multi-kitchen format and two private dining rooms, will transform into an a la carte restaurant in the evenings. Additional F&B options include a contemporary restaurant offering Turkish cuisine, an adjoining cocktail bar, lobby lounge, shisha (or hookah) terrace, and poolside bar. The resort also will offer more than 20,000 square feet of function space.
