Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has signed on for a 375-room hotel in Chengdu, China, opening late 2014. The property will be part of a multi-use development featuring an office tower, residences, and luxury retailers. Plans call for a restaurant on the 39th floor offering panoramic city views; 16,000 square feet, including an expansive ballroom; a Willow Stream Spa; and Fairmont-serviced residences.
