Textile design firm the Robert Allen Design Group has partnered with Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI) to make its product available to properties worldwide. Working with Robert Allen, FRHI can adapt designs to new base cloths, request weave-downs and custom colorations, and create entirely new designs. The firm’s “Room Service” program offers the capability to fabricate all ranges into finished products with designs using existing or custom-designed fabrics.
The hotel company also selected the Robert Allen Design Group for its green practices and eco-friendly fabrics. The firm uses materials like alpaca, bamboo, mohair, wool, cork, and organic cotton, hemp and linen. At least 50 percent of the fibers in these materials are sustainable, organic, and/or recycled.
