Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Arizona is entering the final phase of its five-year, $60 million renovation. Changes and additions will occur in the following areas:
Palomino Conference Center: Adjacent to the existing Princess Conference Center the new Palomino Conference Center adds 52,331 square feet of meeting space, anchored by the 23,000-square-foot Palomino Ballroom. The space features elements such as bi-folding glass doors to showcase the outdoor vistas and warm climate. The center also offers larger break-out areas and additional move-in/move-out flexibility, while the dedicated porte-cochere and outside veranda will feature an artistic fountain and provide seating where participants can relax between meeting sessions.

Princess Conference Center: The hotel’s existing 23,000-square-foot ballroom and meeting space now features contemporary furnishings, lighting, Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired carpeting, and other fresh finishes.
Well & Being at Willow Stream Spa: The wellness and integrated medicine program (there’s a medical doctor on staff) allows guests to personalize their spa experiences and to sustain the benefits once they have returned home. Programming will include cooking demonstrations, guest lectures, and innovative fitness equipment and classes.
Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak: The restaurant will undergo enhancements to its outdoor space, including a patio area offering couches and lounge areas with seating for an additional 30-40 guests, a large fire pit as the focal point, and retractable sun shades.
LV Bistro: In consultation with chef Richard Sandoval, the restaurant will be renamed and rebranded, offering American wood-fired cuisine.
Retail Shop & Coffee Market: The hotel is adding a coffee market with grab-and-go sandwiches and snacks to the Princess Shop, its primary retail and sundries location.
Enhanced grounds and exteriors: Plans call for a living wall; revitalized Fragrance Garden; and repainting the hotel façade off-white, trimmed in desert sage and slate gray.
