Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay, the brand’s first location in mainland China, has opened on the southern tip of Hainan Island. Distinguished by French Riviera-style architecture, the 101 luxurious villas and guestrooms overlook the blue ocean, lagoons, or gardens. Each villa has a private pool, sun lounger, and cabana and is surrounded by lush foliage for privacy. Guests can also access two large outdoor common pools.
The property has four restaurants and bars: the all-day-dining restaurant Teatro, which offers best international cuisine as well as Asian and Western dishes from an open kitchen; La Chine, serving contemporary Hainan and Cantonese cuisine in a luxurious setting; Senses, a specialty restaurant that features fresh seafood; and the Vue Lounge featuring an alfresco setting with panoramic ocean views. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center, tennis courts, and kids club.
