The first stage of Hilton Surfers Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast has debuted with the Boulevard Tower, home to 134 residential apartments. The building will also feature an indoor lap pool and spa, sauna, gymnasium, and barbecue pavilion. A second structure, the Orchid Tower, will feature a dedicated 169-key hotel and additional apartments when it opens in late 2011. “With the introduction of Hilton Surfers Paradise, we aim to marry our brand’s global standards with the local characteristics of Surfers Paradise and present the Gold Coast with a truly unique hospitality offering,” says Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
