The Flagstaff Motel 6 in northern Arizona has unveiled its new design, the brand’s “Phoenix” prototype featuring modernized interiors and European boutique-style guestrooms accented by wood-effect laminate flooring made of 80 percent pre-consumer recycled material. Accommodations include flatscreen TVs, granite bathroom countertops, bright accent colors, ambient lighting, pedestal beds, settee/banquette areas for two, and multimedia panels.
The motel has also incorporated green features such as low-flow faucets, showerheads, and toilets, as well as a fluorescent light bulb and battery recycling program.
