Flamingo Las Vegas Casino & Hotel has unveiled the first of its remodeled guestrooms, designed by locally based Westar Architects. Known as “FAB” rooms, the refreshed accommodations showcase hardwood floors, wood furniture, modern accessories, and touches of the resort’s signature pink, all in a residential-style setting, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. About 2,300 of the hotel’s 3,500 guestrooms will undergo refurbishment as part of the casino’s overall rebranding project, spurred by the recently announced Project Linq, a retail, dining, and entertainment district.
Other updates at the Flamingo have included the transformation of 15,000 square feet of unused public space into the $10 million Margaritaville casino expansion, which connects the Margaritaville restaurant with the rest of the property. Another restaurant is slated to open in December.
