Lighting company Flos has come to Miami, opening in 4141 Design, the concept store owned by brothers John and David Marquette. The design by architect Fabio Calvi gives Flos an extensive presence in the store’s various spaces, including the sales areas, café, and restaurant. The first space will showcase some of the best-known lamps in the decorative collection, including Skygarden by Marcel Wanders and Smithfield by Jasper Morrison. Later it will be joined by a technical space featuring the architectural range and the innovative products in the Soft Architecture collection. Finally, a large two-level display unit made up of niches and positioned as a partition wall in the center of the store will feature both famous models from the past and the latest novelties in the small and mid-size range.
