ForrestPerkins has announced key design appointments and promotions. Jerry Flemons and Mendy Huddleston Winkler have been promoted to vice president. Flemons is a former VP at HKS, where he led the team of architects responsible for the design, documentation, and coordination for the expansive spa and the 40,000-square-foot golf clubhouse at the JW Marriott San Antonio.
Winkler, a 12-year ForrestPerkins veteran, served as the project manager and senior interior designer for the JW Marriott San Antonio, a project that spanned five years. Winkler is currently the project manager of the St. Regis Amman and the Residences in Jordan.
ForrestPerkins also promoted Ann Theriot and Kelly Beavers to senior associate. Other staff members promoted to associate include Yajaira Arenas, Tony Bishop, Morriah Mryszuk, Danielle Cross, and Christina Tasho. The firm also hired Jeff Yang, who has served as project architect and vice president with past employers, and Claudia Colantonio Woods, formerly an associate at Rockwell Group.
