Washington, DC-based firm ForrestPerkins has recently made several key hires-including designers Barbara Silverman, Catherine Kiely, Tonya Bellusci, and Colletta Conner.
Barbara Silverman-who worked as a studio director and senior associate for ForrestPerkins from 2004 to 2009-has rejoined the firm in its DC office as director of interior design. Silverman is known for the WestEnd25 project in DC, where she served as project manager and senior designer.
Catherine Kiely has joined ForrestPerkins as a senior designer and project manager in the San Francisco office. Formerly a team leader, senior designer, and project manager at Gensler, Kiely has worked mainly on hotel and multi-residential projects. Her experience also includes four years of working at McCartan, where she managed and directed design teams, client relationships, and subcontractors.
Before joining ForrestPerkins, Tonya Bellusci served as principal and owner of Bellusci Design for eight years. She will now serve as senior interior designer in the San Francisco office. Bellusci has more than 14 years of Bay Area, national, and international experience in hospitality, restaurant, multi-residential, and senior living design.
Senior interior designer Colletta Conner brings 16 years of project management experience to ForrestPerkins. Conner formerly worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Hilton Hotels and was also an associate with Montgomery Roth Architecture and Interior Design.
“These designers bring innovative perspectives to the firm,” says Deborah Lloyd Forrest, president of ForrestPerkins. “And I’m delighted with the recent recognition our team has received.”
