Colorado’s Ameristar Casino Black Hawk has added a $235 million, 536-room luxury hotel and spa. The 33-story, four-diamond hotel tower features 536 guestrooms with double vanities and separate tubs and showers, marble foyers, top-of-the line mattresses, luxury linens, plasma TVs, and premium bath products. The hotel’s 64 suites offer hot tubs and double-sided fireplaces in select units.
The swimming pool, along with its indoor and outdoor whirlpool spas, is located on an open-air, heated patio on the hotel’s roof. The pool level includes a movable glass wall to enclose the pool during winter months while preserving the panoramic mountain views. The patio surrounding the pool is made of dry-stacked, quarried stone, highlighted by wrought iron details and heavy wood beams and trusses. The full-service ARA day spa features six treatment rooms, hot tubs, and sauna and steam rooms. A fitness center and 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space round out the new hotel’s offerings.
