Marriott has announced that four properties owned by businessman Richard Kessler under his Kessler Collection will join the Autograph Collection, a group of independent hotels and resorts representing upper-upscale and luxury properties with distinctive personalities. The hotels include:
Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando, a downtown landmark devoted to music, cuisine, and art—in fact, the hotel is home to a collection of more than 150 rare works of art.
Bohemian Hotel Celebration, also in Orlando, is nestled in a peaceful lakeside oasis and will soon feature a cosmopolitan lobby lounge and lakeside dining in its new bar and grill restaurant.
The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah occupies a restored Victorian mansion with an onyx marble lobby, spa, and more than 400 pieces of original artwork.
The other Savannah property joining the Autograph Collection is the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront (pictured), whose tailor-made guestroom furnishings include elements of British campaign furniture fitted with finely grained wood, brass, and leather.
To commemorate the new partnership with Marriott and the Autograph Collection, Kessler has commissioned the painting of an original work of art from noted expressionist-colorist Jean Claude Roy. All visitors to Kessler hotels in the Autograph Collection before May 1 will have a chance to win Roy’s original work of art. Six winners will also be selected to receive a limited edition giclee of the piece.
