Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is set to debut in South Korea with the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. Currently under construction, the hotel is projected to open in May 2015.
Singapore-based LTW, New York-based AvroKO, and Hong Kong-based AFSO are finalizing designs in collaboration with local architect Heerim, interior design firm Kesson, and general contractor Daelim Industrial. The 317-room hotel will include a 25-story building in a 44,315-square-foot site in the centrally located Sejongro Square.
“Despite its rapidly developing economy, supply of luxury hotels in Korea has been limited. Recognizing the vast potential in this market, we have been exploring growth opportunities here for many years,” says Chris Hart, president of hotel operations for Asia Pacific at Four Seasons. “We are confident that Four Seasons Hotel Seoul will change the face of luxury hospitality in Korea.”
