Caesars Entertainment Corporation⎯⎯in collaboration with Gansevoort Hotel Group and Victor Drai⎯⎯plans to open the Gansevoort Las Vegas in early 2014. The urban resort will open following a $185 million renovation of the former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Saloon.
Designed by Las Vegas-based firm Tandem, the hotel will feature 188 Parisian apartment-style guestrooms including 19 suites. The property will include a redesigned lobby bar, ultra-lounge, retail outlets, and a 40,000-square-foot casino. A destination restaurant overlooking the Strip will complete the resort.
Gansevoort Las Vegas will be the fourth installment of the brand following the opening of Gansevoort Park Avenue in New York. Planned for later this year, LINQ⎯⎯an open-air retail, dining, and entertainment complex⎯⎯will join with the hotel.
“We are confident that the Gansevoort Las Vegas will be unlike anything that exists in Las Vegas today,” says Michael Achenbaum, founder and president of Gansevoort Hotel Group.
The hotel will also include Drai’s Beach Club and Nightclub⎯⎯designed by Victor Drai and featuring a 65,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor nightclub and rooftop pool. Vegas staple After Hours by Drai will also return to the same location.
