Gensler has appointed Lorraine Francis as its new regional director of hospitality.
Francis began as an associate at Gensler in 1989, and gained experience in hospitality, entertainment, airport, commercial, and retail projects. After her tenure there, she founded her own company, bringing together a team of professionals in architecture, interior design, visualization, and product design-all with an emphasis on sustainability.
Francis and her team have completed several notable projects, including the Aji Spa at Sheraton’s Wild Horse Pass Resort; a 50,000-square-foot ballroom for the Phoenician Resort; a spa for the Beverly Hills Hotel; and Merv Griffin’s Resort Hotel and Givenchy Spa in Palm Springs.
