Colorado’s Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge will embark on a redesign of its 107 guestrooms, which will take cues from its massive outdoor hot springs pool and signature Spa of the Rockies.
The spa ambiance embraces guests as soon as they step into the upgraded rooms, enhanced by a color palette of soothing sage greens, earthy browns, and warm creamy neutrals. A fluffy down-filled duvet encased in a waffle weave cover conjures images of cozy spa robes, a river rock lamp reminds guests of the lodge’s connection to the natural thermal springs, framed photographs depict artistic images of the geological wonders of the area, and a tall mahogany headboard adds depth to the design. The spa treatment extends to the bathroom. A residential-style vanity with granite countertops helps guests feel right at home, while the shower enclosure, decorated with luminous glass accents of olive, gold, and chocolate enhances the experience.
The guestrooms are also undergoing tech upgrades, which will result in bedside docking station for iPods and smart phones, as well as energy-efficient lighting.
