Outdoor furniture manufacturers Gloster and Dedon have teamed up to form a new company called DK Furniture Brands. Design, sales, and management structures will remain unchanged within the new partnership, which is headquartered in Zurich.
Founded in 1990 by Bobby Dekeyser, Dedon invented a durable and environmentally friendly fiber, hand-woven by artisans in the Philippines. Its designs include Orbit, Nestrest, and Leaf. Gloster, owned by Diethelm Keller Group, launched its premium outdoor teak furniture line 50 years ago in Africa. The company owns its own factory in Surabaya, Indonesia, with 1,000 craftsmen.
