Outdoor furniture manufacturer Gloster is projecting significant growth in the contract sector this year as they fill a void left by other suppliers who have shut down operations in the economy. For example, as one major supplier of teak frames left the market, Gloster developed an aggressive strategy to both service the requirements of those suffering from the deficit while at the same time facilitating strong progression and stable growth in the outdoor sector. Gloster has developed frames of a markedly similar style to those leaving the market. As such, the company’s 2010 introductions include 40 frames and six collections.
In addition, Gloster has established Signature by Gloster, available exclusively for showrooms and designers starting in May. Product offerings include four new custom woven lines by designer John Caldwell, three durable teak finishes, 16 all-weather wicker applications to any Gloster woven product, 29 vibrant slings and 52 select fabrics.
