Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, the oldest hotel in Las Vegas, is the newest property in downtown to schedule a makeover, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Plans call for a new five-story structure that would house 16 suites (including two 1,600-square-foot suites on the top floor), as well as the hotel’s lobby. The project would also modernize the deli, expand the casino floor, and add new meeting rooms.
The $12 million proposal goes before the City Council October 19th.
