Mega-resort Revel isn’t the only property making waves in Atlantic City this month. Golden Nugget will emerge on April 26th following a $150 million transformation of the Trump Marina. A refurbished check-in lobby welcomes guests with a sun-drenched atrium, chandeliers, a marble desk, and built-in iPads, while guestrooms exude an upscale, contemporary vibe with a palette of rich red and brown tones.
New dining concepts play a big role at the revamped hotel-casino. Located on the water, Chart House is outfitted with plush seating set amidst vibrant décor. Grotto Italian Ristorante creates an authentic dining experience by channeling a trattoria on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, complete with Fellini-inspired murals and a wood-burning oven. Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse (pictured) offers an intimate yet luxurious atmosphere, thanks to handcrafted mahogany woodwork and leather furnishings, while the chic Michael Patrick’s Brasserie is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional F&B venues include Wine & Wi-Fi; Rush Lounge; LIVE Bar; and Lillie’s Noodles, Asian Cuisine and Sushi.
Guests have plenty of opportunities for leisure, too. The Spa & Salon at the Golden Nugget features eucalyptus steam, sauna, and whirlpools, along with a workout facility. Meanwhile, the H2O Pool + Bar showcases built-in seating areas and firepits.
