Grace Hotels has opened Grace Cafayate in the Salta province of Argentina. Marking the group’s first hotel opening in Latin America, Grace Cafayate draws from local traditions in its 52 rooms and suites and 20 residential villas.
Each villa features two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a dressing room, a living room with an integrated kitchen, cellar and fireplace, plus an outdoor hot tub, terrace, and grill. Villas can be occupied as one-bedroom or two-bedroom suites. The architecture throughout the development draws inspiration from local traditions.
Grace Cafayate offers outdoor dining at the Pool Bar & Grill, while Muse restaurant, led by Jonathan Cartwright, blends European cuisine and Argentine culinary traditions. This is the second Muse restaurant for the group, following the one in the Vanderbilt Grace in Rhode Island.
In addition to the outdoor heated pool, a spa with five treatment rooms and a wellness menu call upon local therapeutic traditions. La Estancia de Cafayate, an 18-hole championship golf course, as well as two polo fields, a clubhouse, and the Athletic Club & Spa complete the amenities.
“The opening of Grace Cafayate marks an exciting moment for Grace Hotels and we are proud of our expansion into Latin America,” says Philippe Requin, CEO of Grace Hotels. “Both local and international visitors will find in Grace Cafayate a unique and unforgettable experience. We bring elegance and sophistication to Argentina’s breathtaking wine country on a renowned sporting estate and promise guests many magical moments and treasured memories.”
