Graham Downes Architecture will update the glitz factor at the Riviera Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The San Diego-based firm will redesign the overall facade, arrival approach, a new entrance and lobby, bars and restaurants, pool area, casino, retail spaces, food court, major circulation, and guest suites. The project will be renovated in phases with completion scheduled for spring 2013. “The vibrant redesign will bring the Rivera back to life, honoring its storied past while injecting the right mix of contemporary style that will carry it enduringly into the future,” says Graham Downes.
