Gran Melia Cancun is undergoing a transformation to become an all-inclusive luxury Paradisus resort in November. Plans call for 136 Royal Service suites and 97 Family Concierge suites; eight restaurants, including the beachfront Gabi Club and a dining venue from chef Martin Berasategui; four pools with swim-up bars; YHI Spa and Health Club; and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel’s multi-pyramid architecture will remain untouched.
