Grand Hyatt San Francisco has renovated its 630 guestrooms as part of an overall makeover that will also encompass the lobby, restaurant and lounge, and meeting space. The new residential-style accommodations feature ergonomic and spacious workstations, custom woodwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a spa-like glass and tile bathrooms. The high-tech rooms also are equipped with smart door locks that communicate with the thermostat and in-room safe. In addition, accommodations now include 21 Respire hypoallergenic rooms.
Wrapping up in August is the renovation of the Grand Club and Grand Club suites, which will incorporate hardwood floors, as well as upgrades to meeting spaces, including the creation of a 5,700-square foot Grand Foyer. Additional improvements to the hotel, expected to begin in early 2012, will include the redesign of the front drive and lobby, the introduction of a new open kitchen concept restaurant and upscale bar, and the repositioning of Grandviews Restaurant and Lounge.
