Grand Hyatt Shenyang has debuted in Northeast China with interiors by HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates and AvroKO. In public spaces and guestrooms, HBA has integrated elements from region’s ancient color with bold color and touches reflective of the bustle of modern-day Shenyang. The 25th-floor sky lobby features art installations inspired by the intricate imperial decorations of the city’s famous ancient palaces, complemented by panoramic city views.

City views also are a hallmark of the hotel’s 353 spacious guestrooms, outfitted in polished hardwood floors; marble bathrooms; rich purple and gold accents; and artwork that interprets the rose, Shenyang’s native flower. Meanwhile, Oriental objets d’art decorate the 34 suites.
AvroKO designed interiors for the property’s eight restaurants and bars, including:
- The Lounge on floor 25
- Café Kitchen, an all-day restaurant displaying interactive show kitchens
- Xin Feng Tian, specializing in authentic regional Chinese favorites
- Jun Hui 28, a private fine-dining restaurant featuring 10 residential-style suites offering city views
- Cuan, a casual restaurant on level 27
- Il Forno, an Italian restaurant styled like a contemporary trattoria with communal chef’s tables, two private rooms, and a wine bar
- FA’R luxury lounge/nightclub
Guests also have access to Qing Spa, a fitness facility with indoor pool, and nearly 37,000 square feet of meeting space.
