Grand Luxxe has opened two new Mexican resorts in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya. Hallmarks of both properties include suites and villas measuring between 2,300 to 3,000 square feet with 12-foot ceilings, marble flooring, rich wood furnishings, opulent upholstery, and Italian design-inspired baths. Amenities include private plunge pools, private butler service, a health spa and fitness center, and in-room Jacuzzis.
Grand Luxxe in Nuevo Vallarta features a tower of 144 suites surrounded by lakes and glimmering ocean views. Meanwhile, the Riviera Maya location is a low-slung resort that blends in with the surrounding tropics. Pristine white sand beaches and cabanas with glamorous, shimmering pools tucked into the landscape greet guests.
“The Riviera Maya is known around the world as an area of incredible beauty and history,” says Arturo Hernandez, chief architect for Grupo Vidanta, the company behind the Grand Luxxe brand. “We designed Grand Luxxe’s newest location to integrate the architectural development between the rich jungle environment and distinct local Mayan culture. This experience immediately begins when you enter the interior courtyard generous with diverse flowers and plants signifying the richness of life in the regional jungle. The actual buildings become secondary to the fullness of nature.”
