Milford Plaza Hotel in Times Square is undergoing a $140 million renovation to its 1,300 guestrooms and suites, lobby, fitness center, and new rooftop bar. Conceived by Gensler, each floor features design inspired by individual New York City neighborhoods, achieved through rich colors, graphic patterns, and clean lines.

For example, the guestrooms on the Times Square Floor feature splashes of energetic colors and touches of the iconic signage and billboards for which the iconic area is known, while on the Central Park Floor, rooms welcome guests with a fresh color palette that captures the park’s vibrant green grass, winding tree-lined walkways, and colorful flower gardens. Meanwhile, the brightly carpeted hallways on each floor of the hotel represent the design of the famous New York City Subway Lines that service the featured neighborhood.
