Hilton Worldwide has signed its first Hampton by Hilton hotel for Germany with a 214-room property in Berlin. Scheduled to open in late 2010, the hotel will offer meeting facilities, fitness area, and breakfast room. "The introduction of the Hampton by Hilton brand in Europe is an important aspect of our strategic development ambition—one that we believe has huge growth potential in Germany," says Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for Europe & Africa at Hilton Worldwide.
