Four Seasons is set to open in Shenzhen as the eighth addition to the group’s portfolio in China.
Local architects Urbanus and Singapore-based HBA will design a space that evokes a chic private home. Colorful contemporary art and traditional Chinese motifs of good fortune are in every room, including hand-painted headboards of “auspicious clouds,” a theme repeated in the carpeting.
Envisioned by Tokyo-based SPIN Design, FOO restaurant is accessed via a floor-lit entrance with a contemporary wire sculpture above. In addition to the main space, 10 private dining rooms are available for more intimate social gatherings and business entertaining. Yi Bar & Lounge also adds to the food and beverage outlets.
The two meeting spaces include the sixth floor Four Seasons ballroom seating up to 360 guests plus two private pre-function spaces, and the more intimate Peony ballroom on the 29th floor.
