Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement for a new-build Hilton hotel in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City. Currently under construction, Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City is expected to open in March 2014.
With 260 rooms, the hotel will form part of Samara⎯⎯one of the five largest-mixed use complexes in Mexico. The complex features more than 3.8 million square feet of space, combining corporate offices and a shopping center with the hotel.
Designed by San Francisco-based HBA, the interior lobby will feature double height ceilings and natural lighting, as well as a coffee bar, lounge, and restaurant. Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City will be housed in a crystal building designed by Mexico City-based Diametro Arquitectos⎯⎯surrounded by gardens.
Boasting more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel will include a mezzanine ballroom crafted with warm textured wood walls and contemporary chandeliers. The rooftop level will also include a pool, bar, and fitness center.
