HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates has hired senior project designer Frank Medrano as its 500th employee. The global design firm has grown 14 percent since January, with more than 75 percent of its employees working outside the United States. Medrano brings over 15 years of hospitality and residential design experience to his new position. He previously worked for Kelly Wearstler and Frank Gehry, lending his talents to projects such as City Center Club at MGM Mirage in Las Vegas; Viceroy Hotel & Residences in South Beach; and Tides Hotel & Residences in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
