Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) has launched the Studio Ddivision. Catering to a growing segment of budgeting owners and developers, Studio will offer locally accessible solutions and specialized designs for the U.S. market.

Following the launches of Studio in Shanghai and New Delhi, the Los Angeles-based design arm works in a range of projects-small to medium-sized hotels, resorts, show flats, private residences, stand alone restaurants, nightclubs, and office lobbies-all entirely in their domestic markets.
“For budget-driven hospitality projects in the U.S., the multi disciplinary approach gives owners the ability to outsource and completely streamline project execution while maintaining greater control over project schedules and budgets,” says David Dunphy, principal of Studio in Los Angeles. “All of this can happen while still providing excellent design that relates directly to the bottom line.”
Studio tailors its approach for each project and client with a flexible operation system. Simpler information chains-an advantage of Studio’s system-eliminate the coordination problems characteristic of a multi-firm design. Working as a single source solution, the firm provides a range of disciplines, including architecture, interior design, furniture, equipment procurement, and fixtures.
