Dallas’s iconic Hilton Anatole has completed a $125 million transformation that included the renovation of its 1,606 Asian-inspired guestrooms, common areas, and meeting and event space. The property has also introduced three new dining options and an Executive Lounge on the 25th floor.
The re-imagined Atrium II, designed by EDG Interior Architecture + Design, features a park-like Asian garden outfitted with teak furnishings, a modern tea pavilion for public or private events, lush indoor landscaping, and a 160-foot-long reflecting pool. The materials are a mix of dark wood, slate, and stone juxtaposed with accents of red, amber, and glass. The atrium’s centerpiece is a striking kinetic sculpture called Nebula. The artwork by artist Reuben Margolin is a multi-tiered geometric mechanism measuring more than 100 feet long and 50 feet wide, floating 50 feet above the crowd. The 10,000-pound piece is constructed of 10 miles of aircraft cable, 1,780 pulleys, and more than 4,500 amber crystals that float and reflect in a wavelike celestial dance.
The Anatole’s 600,000 square feet of meeting and event space includes a conference registration area and separate meeting planner offices in the Atrium II. Pre-function areas in the Tower, along with 17 breakout rooms and six major ballrooms, were renovated to include bold, sweeping designs via new carpet, lighting, architectural appointments, and modern touches on furniture and artwork. In the F&B category, the new tech-savvy Media Grill + Bar provides a fully interactive restaurant experience featuring customized visual, audio, and lighting capabilities. Crafted from stone, wood, and metal to mesh, Counter Offer Gourmet Market & Wine Gallery is a three-meal outlet that converts into a wine bar in the evening.
