Hilton College Station Hotel & Conference Center has reopened following a $5 million makeover. Revamped interiors showcase a distinct modern Texas flair with black, red, and orange accents. The property’s 303 guestrooms are outfitted with new flatscreen TVs, carpet, drapes, and furniture made from dark cherry wood. Meanwhile, the corridors, lobby, and 27,000 square feet of meeting space received new carpet and millwork. The refreshed lobby also features a new front desk, water feature, and upgrades to the Gallery Bar. About 100 works from local artist Benjamin Knox adorn the walls of the lobby and corridors.
