The $140 million Hilton Columbus Downtown, a full-service convention hotel, has broken ground in Ohio. The design group includes architects HOK and local firm Moody Nolan, interior designers Simeone Deary Design Group, and Turner Smoot as the project construction manager. The hotel, which is being designed to LEED standards, will feature 580 guestrooms and suites, nearly 23,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant, lounge, and a naturally lit lobby atrium.
The project is a collaboration among the Franklin County Commissioners, Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority, City of Columbus, and Nationwide Realty Investors, Inc.
