Hilton Worldwide has opened the Hilton Sharjah in the UAE. Though the opening is the first in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Hilton Sharjah marks the company’s 11th branded hotel in the UAE.

The 259-room Hilton Sharjah-converted from the Corniche Al Buhaira Hotel-overlooks the city’s biggest lagoon and is six miles from Dubai International Airport. Amenities include three swimming pools, a health club and fitness center, seven meeting rooms, a business center, and a 500-capacity ballroom.

Dining options at the Hotel Sharjah include the Mojo restaurant, which serves buffet-style local and international specialties; Iranian cuisine at the Shiraz restaurant; and Al Dallah’s pastries and refreshments. The Citrus Lobby Lounge additionally features nightly live music.
