The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, located along northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, has unveiled its $6.5 million renovation. The project comes on the heels of a $3.4 million renovation completed in 2009, which included a complete transformation of 400 rooms located in the hotel’s Emerald Tower, as well as upgrades to rooms in its Spa Tower.
For this project, remaining guestrooms have been refreshed with paint and new furniture. The first-floor Lanai Suites will feature wall-mounted flatscreen TVs, and a private reading alcove. Expanded deck areas and a new Barefoot’s Beachside Bar & Grill will showcase unobstructed Gulf views, while the new Sand Bar will be located directly on the beach. In addition, the hotel spa underwent a $250,000 upgrade, which includes new fitness equipment.
