Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa has completed phase one of a $7 million renovation, which covers the 219-room Arizona resort’s lobby.
Completed in April, the new 6,480-square-foot lobby features a soothing earth toned color palette and artwork, furnishings, and finishes that reflect Sedona’s natural elements. In the center of the lobby, a suspended sculpture hangs above a patch of grass and a mock river of blue crystals to recall the local rose quartz and nearby Oak Creek.
The Living Room, a 4,875-square-foot gathering space, features a design that captures Arizona’s vagabond spirit and Western heritage. Inside, the VorTech Den offers workstations and leather furnishings. The Living Room and Lobby also house a variety of sculptures, abstract paintings, and ceramic vessels created by local artists.
The second phase of renovations will include the resort’s 219 guestrooms and suites and is scheduled to begin in Q4 of 2014. Guestrooms will be refinished and redesigned with locally inspired elements and materials.v
