Hilton Worldwide has signed on for its first hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, slated to open in Q4 2013 and located in the heart of the kingdom’s petrochemical industry. Plans call for 250 guestrooms and suites, two specialty restaurants, pool, executive lounge, business center, health club, spa, outdoor pool, and meeting space. The new property will be part of an upscale mixed-use development with a range of facilities including residential towers, a retail mall, and an office building.
