Hilton Worldwide has signed two management agreements in Saudi Arabia’s capital for Hilton Riyadh King Saud University and Hilton Riyadh King Saud University Residence, projected to open in 2012. The two properties will feature all-day dining facilities, health clubs, swimming pools, and business centers. The hotel will also offer a spa, retail space, four meeting rooms, an executive lounge, and additional F&B options including a specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, and pool bar.
Hilton officials say that Saudi Arabia is the brand’s number one development market in the Middle East. Its portfolio and pipeline in the kingdom includes the Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya (now open), the Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Al Muroj (opening Q3 2011), and the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residence (opening Q4 2013).
