Hilton Worldwide has signed a new hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 


The 120-room Hollis Halifax – a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, formerly a Radisson Suite Hotel, is currently undergoing renovation and is expected to convert by early September. Earlier this year, Hilton Worldwide opened its 100th hotel property in Canada and has nearly 40 more hotels in the pipeline worldwide. DoubleTree by Hilton operates 380 hotels worldwide, with six hotels open in Canada.

The 10-story hotel will be owned and operated by Magna Hotels, Inc. It is the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Nova Scotia and will join several Hilton Worldwide hotels in Halifax, including the recently opened dual-build Hampton Inn by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton Halifax-Downtown.
